ACCELERATION & SCALING
Incorporating standard web technologies (SOAP, SSL, PKI), UNOMI™ takes advantage of acceleration and scaling for high-throughput web delivery. Its components can be clustered locally for higher performance, and even distributed across multiple physical locations to balance network load and provide geographic redundancy.
MULTIPLE INPUT DEVICES
Initially, we’re deploying UNOMI™ online, where a large proportion of sensitive transactions take place. However, we recognize the growing need for authentication in today’s digital world and have plans to make our technology available on other platforms including:
- ATM systems;
- mobile devices, such as PDAs, and;
- other biometric systems.
CONSISTENT USABILITY
We’ve tested the effect of different screen sizes on usability and have found equal performance for very small screens, like those found on handheld devices, and larger screens, such as computers and ATMs, with similar tests planned for track-pads, joysticks, and touch screens.
UNIVERSAL ACCESSIBILITY
We’re committed to providing universal accessibility and usability. As such, UNOMI™ can be modified to accommodate those with physical or mental impairments.
